Purpose Software integration with Westcoast
2serv and CBS, Purpose Software’s service management software solutions for document and
print management providers, are now fully integrated with Westcoast.
Alex Tatham, Westcoast Managing Director said the integration will enable joint customers to
achieve significant cost savings and increase efficiency. “It allows orders to be placed seamlessly via our
bidirectional integration (EDI) and gives resellers full track and trace visibility with full invoice matching to
streamline the payment authorisation workflow process.”
Resellers will be able to outsource the toner replenishment process, eliminate the need to maintain
costly warehouse stock for all print devices supported and speed up the delivery process. It also removes
the need to resolve any technical issues that end users may have when installing replacement toner
cartridges as this is handled by Westcoast’s online and telephone-based support service.
Westcoast’s EDI/XML service provides 2serv and CBS users with access to up to the minute pricing and
stock levels along with seamless automatic order processing and comprehensive reporting capabilities.
“Integration with Westcoast is the latest in a planned series of software enhancements that will
maintain Purpose Software’s leading position in the market,” said Mike Burke, Managing Director of
Purpose Software.

CTS Toner Supplies
implement electronic
trading
ECi Software Solutions has completed
a series of opXML links for CTS Toner
Supplies, giving users of the Horizon and
Progress business management systems a
further choice of trading partners.
This latest technology relationship with CTS
Toner Supplies allows Horizon and Progress
dealers to send orders and receive invoices
electronically, as well as make real-time stock
enquiries and receive terms files via email
or FTP, further streamlining order processing
routines and taking additional costs out of
their business.
ECi Managing Director Nick Gradwell said:
“CTS’s decision to go down the electronic
trading route is yet another example of the
wider adoption of this technology by distributors
outside of the traditional wholesale channel.
“Distributors who implement electronic
trading typically see incremental sales as it
makes it easier for dealers to have a direct
trading relationship with them. For our
customers, they benefit from a wider selection
of products, giving them more power in the
channel,” he added.
