EXHIBITIONS
Last autumn, Link Exhibitions
launched a brand new exhibition for
the UK print industry. Designed to
provide a solid, sustainable platform
for companies to showcase their
products and solutions, the inaugural
The Print Show attracted 5,384
visitors over three days and drew
praise from all corners of the print
industry for its content, calibre of
exhibitor and overall approach.
Such was its success that a number of
companies signed up for The Print Show
2016 while still at the show, among them
Konica Minolta, which has reserved the
largest stand at this year’s event, now
taking place at the NEC, Birmingham. It
plans to use the space to showcase its
commercial print business and demonstrate
how its hardware, software and finishing
solutions can help printers get maximum
value from their digital presses by
providing new capabilities and bringing
new levels of productivity.
As well as showing a selection of the
latest technologies, software, finishing,

Market Development Manager Bernard
Cassidy said: “The Print Show provides
us with the ideal platform to cement our
position as a market-leading production
and industrial print solution provider. We
will be talking to visitors about how we
can help them to save money, increase
profits, add new services and improve
productivity with our Digital1234 business
development program. We are also
excited to talk more about how we are
engaging with members of our newly
launched independent European user
group PROKOM, sharing ideas to develop
and grow efficient digital communication
services, to build profitable long-lasting
relationships.”

will be giving visitors the opportunity to
get hands-on with the equipment, talk to
the company’s dedicated production print
specialists and see how the company’s
solutions can take cost and complexity out
of printing operations.
AccurioPro
A major highlight will be the UK launch of
AccurioPro, the new unified brand for all
Konica Minolta digital press and digital
workflow solutions. Konica Minolta says
the AccurioPro name reflects the advanced,
automated and, above all, accurate nature
of its technology. Visitors will be able to
judge this for themselves, with on-stand
demonstrations of the AccurioPro Flux
and AccurioPro Color Care solutions in
conjunction with the bizhub PRESS C1100
and bizhub PRESS C71hc, which has a
colour print speed of 71ppm and uses High
Chroma toner for bold, intense and vibrant
extended RGB colours.
Konica Minolta will also be promoting
the benefits of its partnership with MGI
Digital Technology. Following further
investment in MGI in April, it has
strengthened its ties with the company,
giving customers easy access to added-
value solutions such as the MGI JV3DS for
spot varnishing digital prints to highlight
defined areas or add 3D effects.
