It bears testimony to our dedicated staff who work tirelessly to achieve great results for our customers. Developed by government and industry, the Cyber Essentials scheme provides a clear statement of the basic controls all organisations should implement to mitigate the risk from common internet based threats, within the context of the 10 Steps to Cyber Security. And through the Assurance Framework, it offers a mechanism for organisations to demonstrate to customers, investors, insurers and others that they have taken these essential precautions. For Cyber Essentials Plus, the certification process covers the same requirements as the Cyber Essentials scheme, but also includes independent testing of whether the controls implemented collectively defeat threats from hacking and phishing. www.apogeecorp.com Perfect Colours launches printer rental initiative Printer reseller Perfect Colours is set to offer clients an alternative to buying or leasing their print equipment with a straightforward rental initiative. The difference between the new rental package and the company’s traditional leasing offer is that customers can simply rent a new printer for a fixed monthly fee without the option to buy the equipment at the end of the three-year agreement. Sales Director Jon Telling said: “This new rental agreement means that clients are able to take on the technology they want rather than the technology they can afford, without feeling tied into a long-term commitment that might turn into a purchase. The package also includes a warranty that runs for the three-year term of the agreement – and then when the time is up, they can hand the printer back to us and rent a newer model.” The company has set its rental rates competitively, making this an option that will work out cheaper than most printers’ current solution. “It’s a solution that allows participants access to better technology with less of a commitment, so we feel it’s exactly right for the market at this time,” Telling added. www.perfectcolours.com Blackbox Solutions expands telecoms offer Blackbox Solutions has partnered with one of the UK's fastest-growing telecoms providers, TelcoSwitch.
